Osteolepis panderi Pander 1861.
Osteolepis belonged to a group of fish known as Crossopterygians ('Lobe finned'). The developed bones in the fins meant they ere able to evolve eventually into the first of the Amphibians. Fine well preserved complete fish showing nice detail of the bones, fins and scales. The head has disintegrated somewhat after death
