Promicroceras planicosta Sowerby
Triangular piece of grey limestone. On the upper surface are 2 beautifully preserved calcitic Ammonites. The larger one shows 4 colours - brown, cream white and grey. The smaller one is grey brown and cream. Unusual.
Jurassic, Upper Sinemurian, Obtusum Zone.
Black Ven, Charmouth / Lyme Regis, Dorset.
Larger Ammonite : 2.3 cm diam.
