Plecia pealei Scudder.

Two small pieces of cream coloured shale stuck to a piece of card for support. Both have a well-preserved march fly preserved. The head, body, wings and legs are showing. Unusual locality.

Eocene, Green River Formation, Fossil Butte Member.
Hebdon Quarry, 4 miles north of Curtis, 8 miles west of Highway 189, Lincoln County, Wyoming, U.S.A.
