Part of the plastron or shell of a late Jurassic turtle. Possibly from something lie a Pleurosternum sp. Turtles have very distinctive easily recognisable bones. Unusual.
Jurassic, Kimmeridge Clay. Re-worked into the overlying cretaceous, Albian sponge gravels.
