Ludwigia murchisonae (Sowerby)
Split sandstone nodule off the beach. Inside are four beautifully preserved 3d Ammonites. Three form a cluster at one end of the nodule. Collected 30 years ago. From the type locality for this species. Beareraig Bay specimens now very difficult to obtain. N.B. VERY HEAVY AT 2.7 KILOS.
