Strigoceras pseudostrigifer Maubenge 1955.
Fine complete matrix free shell. Shows beautiful sutures .On one surface there is a row in a straight line of 4 irregular holes. These could just be from a boring sponge or a predatory Gastropod. On the other surface there is a much bigger depressed area that is more consistent with a bite mark. Strigoceras were fast open water swimmers. Interesting specimen.
