Promicroceras planicosta (Sowerby) with Cymbites cf neglectus Spath.
Light grey limestone matrix. The split surface is covered in a mass of broken Ammonites and shell fragments. In the middle is a complete Promicroceras lying next to a much smaller Cymbites. The broken nature of the fossils would suggest a high energy environment during deposition.
Jurassic, Upper Sinemurian, obtusum Zone.
