Hypelosaurus priscus Matheron.
4 eggshell fragments from a large Sauropod ( a Titanosaur). The eggshell is extremely thin for such a large egg. This may have been a contributing factor to the eventual extinction of the Dinosaurs at the close of the cretaceous period with eggs being infertile. Although the fragments have 'Danian' written on them they are in fact from the very late Maastrichtian
Uppermost Cretaceous, very late Maastrichtian.
