Caballine horse.

The taxonomy of the group of robust horses from the Pleistocene of Europe is complex. Equus caballus Linnaeus is only one of several including Equus germanicus Nehring that has been recorded from Germany. Central section of a lower jaw with 2 well preserved molars in position. Nice preservation and detail.
