Rebbachisaurus garasbae Lavocet 1954.

Superb matrix free tooth from a large Sauropod Dinosaur. These peg like teeth were used to bite off tough vegetation. The hard cellulose in the plant ended up wearing down the tip of the teeth as demonstrated in this specimen.

Cretaceous, Albian / Cenomanian, Tegana Formation.
Hamada gu Guir, Kem Kem Basin, south of Taouz, Morocco.

Tooth : 4.4 cm long.
