Promicroceras planicosta (Sowerby) with Cymbites sp.
Palm sized slab of a rarely seen bed known as 'Yellowstone'. This has a restricted distribution. Only the second time I have one for sale. The matrix is a very very pale grey with a slight 'yellowish tinge'. One surface shows shows 9 compete Ammonites.
Jurassic, Upper Sinemurian, Obtusum Zone, 'Yellowstone Bed'.
Black Ven, Charmouth, Dorset.
