Rhadolepis macropterus Bronn.
Grey shale matrix. With a beautifully preserved complete fish. Both positive and negative halves. Exceptional preservation. Superb detail of the skull,scales, fins and tail under magnification. Rhadolepis was a swift predator. This is a juvenile. Towards one end of the matrix there is another curled up Rhadolepis.
Lower permian, Lower Rotliegendes, Meisenheim Formation.
