Pentacrinites fossilis Blumenbach
Beautiful example of the famous 'Pentacrinite Bed from the cliffs near Charmouth. One surface covered in fantastically preserved 3D Crinoid remains. Shows one calyx with branching arms and pinnules as well as numerous stems etc. Extremely attractive specimen.
Jurassic, Upper Sinemurian, Obtusum Zone, 'Pentacrinite Bed'.
