Ichthyosaurus communis Conybeare & De la Beche.
Two matrix free Ichthyosaur vertebrae. Slightly different in size but identical in colour and preservation. Found lying next to each other and 100% from the same animal. Good Ichthyosaur remains from the famous section at Hock Cliff on the River Severn are really rare.
Jurassic, Lower Sinemurian.
Hock Cliff, River Severn, Fretherne, Gloucestershire.
