Pentacrinites fossilis (Blumenbach)
Plate sized slab of the famous 'Pentacrinites Bed' from Black Ven Charmouth. One surface shows at least 3 individual all lying overlapping each other. Fantastic detail of the calyx plated, the arms and the feathery pinnules. Criss -crossed with 3 large 3D stems from other Crinoids. Superb example of this classic Dorset fossil. Found back in the 1980's.
