MOROCCAN SILURIAN CRINOID
Scyphiocrinites cf. elegans Zenker 1833.
Palm sized piece of crinoidal limestone. One surface shows a single stem and a number of beautifully preserved arms with pinnules. The other side shows a debris mass of dis-articulated crinoid stems.
Late Silurian, Pridolian / earliest Lochkovian.
Jbel Bou Tchrafine, east of Arfoud, Morocco.
Specimen : 7 x 6.5 x 0.2cm.
