Otodus (Megaselachus) megalodon.

Tooth of an extinct giant shark. These were the apex predators in the oceans at that time The blade shows two areas of damage. These are the result of either 1 / later boring activity of a bivalved mollusc known as a Piddock or 2 / the result of the shark actually biting it's own teeth during a feeding frenzy.
