Mecochirus longimanus (Schlotheim) 1820.
Complete 'long armed lobster' from the famous Lithographic Limestones of the Solnhofen region of Bavaria. This lobster probably lived in crevices and was an ambush predator - rushing put to grab prey with its long extended front appendages. Some nice detail under magnification.
