Ephemeropsis trisetalis Eichwald, Karatovoblatta formosa Ren, Coptoclavia longipoda Ping 1928 & Eosestheria ovata Chen, 1976.

Small piece of buff coloured siltstone. On one surface are at least 6 mayfly larvae (Ephemeropsis), a cockroach wing (Karatovoblatta), a beetle (Coptoclavia) and numerous 'water fleas; or small freshwater Arthropods (Eosestheria).The other surface has  a few more Arthropods. Nice example of a freshwater ecosystem.

Late Jurassic / early Cretaceous, 2nd member of the Yixian Formation.

Shangyuan, Beipiao City, Liaoning province, N.E.China.

Matrix : 5.7 x 4 cm.
