Lycoptera cf. davidi Sauvage 1880.
Complete fish on light grey siltstone matrix. The fish is lying belly upwards showing the underside of the skull. Lovely detail of the bones, vertebrae, ribs, fins and tail under magnification. These lovely little fish are now getting quite hard to come by.
Late Jurassic / Lower cretaceous, Lower part of the Yixian Formation.
