Mechochirus longimanus Schlotheim
Rectangular 'tile' of Lithographic Limestone. In the centre is a complete lobster. The exceptionally long front appendages typical of this species are very evident. Some of the legs have ended up and over the body - presumably by current action after death. Unusual. From an old German collection.
