Lissodus minimus (Agassiz, 1839).

Palm sized piece of matrix. One surface shows a pristine posterolateral tooth from a Hybodontid Shark. In amongst numerous teeth, scales and bones all of which are beautifully preserved. Nice detail under magnification.

Triassic, Rhaetic, Penarth Series, Westbury Formation.
Garden Cliff, Westbury- on- Severn, Gloucestershire.

Matrix : 11 x 10.5 x 2 cm.
Tooth : 0.6 cm. across.
