Glossopteris browniana Brongniart.
Plate sized slab of pinkish siltstone. On both surfaces are numerous beautifully preserved leaves of the Glossopteris. Glossopteris forests were widespread all across the southern super continent of Gondwanaland in the Permian. Their remains are now found scattered all over the southern hemisphere in places like South America, Africa, India, Australia and Antarctica.
