Eurypterus remiceps Dekay.
Small piece of dolomitic limestone. On one surface is an articulated juvenile Eurypterid lying 'belly' upwards. Shows the head with some of the appendages and the segmented body. The long thin pointed telson has drifted off and is lying just below the Eurypterid partly buried in the matrix. Nice example of this famous New York State fossil.
