IGUANODON LIMB BONE SECTION - CRETACEOUS, ISLE OF WIGHT.
Iguanodon sp. indet.
Matrix free bone. Part of the proximal end of the tibia (lower leg) bone from an immature individual. The sub triangular shape is very obvious in cross section. Beach find so somewhat rolled. Iguanodon limb bone specimens difficult to obtain.
Cretaceous, Wealden, Wessex Formation.
Brook Bay, Isle of Wight.
