The top or proximal end of the femur from a small Ichthyosaur. Somewhat waterworn as found on the tidal reefs but in good condition. Uncommon.
Jurassic, Lower Sinemurian.
Church Cliff Bay, Lyme Regis, Dorset.
Bone : 5.7 cm. long.
