Hyaena coprolite.

Matrix free coprolite from a spotted or cave hyaena, ( Crocuta crocuta  Erxleben ) Found on the floor of the Hyaena den in a 1948 excavation. Kent's Cavern is now an S.S.S.I. It is impossible to obtain any material from there apart from old collections. 

Pleistocene, Devensian.
Torbryan Caves, Kent's Cavern, Torquay, Devon.

Found 1948.

Coprolite : 3.6 x 3.3 x 1.6 cm.
