Acanthoscaphites nodosus (Owen)
Matrix free heteromorph Ammonite shaped like a letter 'G'. Complete right to the termination of the body chamber. This specimen has lain on the surface for some time so that most of the iridescent shell has been weathered. Sutures beautifully picked out. If this was in perfect condition it would be over twice the price. . Impressive example.
