Equus cf. ferus Boddaert.
Perfect jet black radius from an Ice Age Horse. In pristine condition. Towards the distal end there is a distinct 1 cm long groove on the outside of the bone. This is from the tooth (or possibly claw) of a predator. Most likely wolf. Interesting.
Pleistocene, Devensian.
Dredged from the Brown Bank, North sea off Lowestoft.
Bone : 34 cm. long.
