Whale - indet.
Both Baleen and Sperm whales are recorded from the Miocene Temblor deposits found at the famous locality of Shark's Tooth Hill. Both these large whales would have been easy prey for the huge extinct shark 'Megalodon'. This vertebra is matrix free, complete and is heavily mineralised. Fine display piece.
