Piece of dense silicified wood from a Tropical hardwood tree. The fossil wood from the Irrawaddy river valley is known in Burmese as 'Ingyin kyauk'. Unusual location.


Upper Miocene /Lower Pliocene, Irrawaddy System.
Magwe, Myanmar (formerly Burma).

Wood : 9 cm. long.
