Promicroceras planicosta (Sowerby)
An unusual pair of Ammonites in the extreme colour difference. One is very dark with a cream coloured final part of the outer whorl. The other Ammonite is honey coloured and mottled grey.
Jurassic, Upper Sinemurian, Obtusum Zone.
Black Ven, Charmouth / Lyme Regis Dorset.
Specimen : 11 x 11.5 cm.
