Metriorhynchus sp.

Metriorhynchus was a fully marine Crocodile with flippers rather than feet. At least three species are known from the Oxford Clay. Slightly crushed and twisted vertebra which is typical preservation. All faces intact and matrix free.

Jurassic Callovian, Oxford Clay.
Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

Specimen : 4 x 5 x 3 cm.
