Conulus albogalerus (Leske)

Flint internal cast of an Echinoid . These and the larger  similar shaped genus, Echinocorys were often refereed to in folklore as 'Shepard's Crowns. They were used around buildings to ward off evil spirits. Lovely example.

Cretaceous, Upper Chalk.
Thanet coast, Kent.
