Pagioplyllum sp. with Cymbites sp.
Hand sized piece of 'wooodstone'. On the inner surface is a spread of conifer wood which must have been driftwood. Lying next to the wood is a small 3D Ammonite. This is one of the best examples of this particular wood from Black Ven that I have seen.
Jurassic, Upper Sinemurian, Obtusum Zone.
Black Ven, Charmouth / Lyme Regis, Dorset.
