Clypeus plotti (Salter)
Fine beautifully preserved matrix free test. Lovely surface detail under magnification. Where the 'groove' is on the upper surface there is an area where the test is missing. The shape of the damage and the state of the exposed edge is consistent not with preparation damage but with a bit from a predator. Most likely a shark or fish just having a 'nibble'
