Ellipsocephalus hoffi Schlotheim
Block of green siltstone. On the upper surface are the remains of at least 10 individual Trilobites. Two are complete positives along with 3 or 4 good negatives. Ellipsocephalus had no eyes which were an adaptation to envirronmental conditions. Nice preservation. The famous sites for these pretty little trilobites are on military land (formerly Soviet).
