Champosaurus sp
Champosaurus belongs to a group of reptiles known as Choristoderes. They superficially resemble crocodiles and were fish eaters. First described by the American palaeontologist Edward Drinker Cope. Nice well preserved matrix free complete caudal vertebra.
Late Cretaceous, Campanian, Judith River Formation.
Fergus County, Montana, USA.
