Ursus spelaeus Rosenmuller & Heinroth

Two metatarsal bones from Ice Age Cave Bear feet. The larger of the two is a 4th dextral (right) metatarsal and the smaller on is a 4th sinistral (left)  metatarsal from a smaller individual. Possibly male and female as one is more robust than the other. Found in the early 1950's.

Pleistocene, Devensian.

Gondemans les Moulins, France.

Larger bone : 10 cm long.
Smaller bone : 8.5 cm long.
