Ursus spelaeus Rosenmuller & Heinroth.

Rear section of the lower right jaw of an adult Cave bear. The outer surface shows one circular tooth mark from a canine. The inner surface shows at least two bite marks. This could be from cave hyena but more likely either Leopard or Cave Lion predation. Fantastic example. Cave Bear from Italy rarely comes up for sale.
