Carcharodontosaurus saharicus Stromer 1931.
Carcharodontosaurus was the apex land predator in the Cretaceous of North Africa. Fine well preserved matrix free tooth. Shows serrations along both edges of the blade. Really nice example.
Cretaceous, Albian / Cenomanian, Tegana Formation.
Hamada du Guir, Kem Kem basin, south of Taouz Morocco.
Tooth : 2.5 cm tall.
