Pentremites cf godoni Defrance.
Fine 3D beautifully preserved Blastoid on shale matrix. In amongst Crinoid stems, and both stick and mat Bryozoan colonies. This specimen comes from an unnamed collection. On the reverse in black lettering is the number 103 and the words Blastoid, Ordovician and Siberia. This is clearly a very poor guess as Ordovician Blastoids are not recorded from Siberia and this is very obviously the Carboniferous genus Pentremites. The Bryozoans on the matrix are very characteristic of the Illinois Blastoid finds.
