BIVALVE SHOWING GASTROPOD PREDATION - COTSWOLDS
Pseudotrapezium sp.
Small slab of oolitic limestone with a single Bivalve shell on it. There is a very neat 0.3mm diameter hole on the top surface of the shell. This has been 'drilled' by the radula of a predatory gastropod. textbook example.
