Complete vertebra. Size wise it would fit with something like a small / medium wildfowl of some description. This is very much in keeping with the geographical condition in the area where these peat beds were deposited. Glacial outwash fans issuing from a large late glacial lake (Lake Agassiz).

Late Devensian / early Flandrian. peat beds.
Anoka county, east central Minnesota, U.S.A.
