Bird indet.

The distal end of a humerus from a bird. The shape and size would suggest something like a duck. This would be in keeping with the geographical landscape at the time of deposition. Glacial outwash fans from a late ice Age Lake (Lake Agassiz).

Late Pleistocene. Devensian / Flandrian.
Anoka County, East central Minnesota, U.S.A.

Bone : 3 cm. long
