Balanocrinus gracilis ( Charlesworth)
Palm sized slab of matrix. Both surfaces absolutely covered in well preserved 3D Crinoid remains. Mostly stem sections and isolated columnals. There is one small calyx with arms attached. This particular bed of Crinoids is rarely exposed and as such this material rarely comes up for sale. Found back in the 1980's.
Jurassic, Upper Pliensbachian, Margaritatus Zone. Top of the Eype Clay.
