Apiocrinites elegans (Defrance) with colony of Hyporosopora typica Canu & Basler.
The lower half of the calyx from a Crinoid. Known as the 'Pear Encrinite' due to its pear shape. Matrix free. In beautiful condition. On the lower surface there is a 3D colony of Bryozoans, plus serpulid worms attached. From the famous old canal side quarry for these attractive fossils.
