Aphanius crassicaudus Nardo 1827.

Aphanius is related to modern Killifish. In the Miocene and Pliocene they lived in hypersaline basins along the northern coast of the proto- Mediterranean. Magnificent complete 3d specimen. The preservation and detail is quite exceptional. Translucent pinkish red scales. An absolute 'beauty'.
