Branchiosaurus (Protriton) petrolei Gaudry
Complete Amphibian preserved side on. Lovely detail of skull bones, orb, jaw with teeth, vertebral column, skin and limbs. Single neat repair straight across the middle does not detract from an otherwise excellent specimen.
Lower Permian, Rothliegendes.
Oderheim Pfalz, Germany.
Amphibian : 7.5 cm long.
