Promicroceras planicosta (Sowerby) with Holcoptera giebeli (Handlirsch)
Perfect 3D calcitic Ammonite on grey limestone. At the other end is a very fine elytron ( wing case0 from a beetle showing the characteristic longitudinal stripes. Insect finds from Lyme Regis / Charmouth are exceptionally rare.

Matrix : 8.3 x 7.5. Beetle wing case : 1.2 cm long.
